Our history
Glycines Country Guesthouse was born of our dream: to offer a place to recharge your batteries, simple beauty and sharing. We are Jost, of German origin, and Andrea, Brazilian, who have lived in France for over 30 years. After a busy working life, we restored this former post house in the heart of the Yvelines countryside with passion.
Today, we're opening up our home in the same way that you open up your second home to friends. Here, everything is designed to make you feel "at home, somewhere else": spacious, elegant flats, a large flower-filled garden, a swimming spa, and the authenticity of a French art de vivre.
It's a real country house that we're making available to you: a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city, just 50 km from Paris. Whether you come for a weekend, a holiday or a wellness retreat, we welcome you with warmth and simplicity, as if you were part of the family.

Exceptional! A wonderful welcome in an enchanting, bucolic setting. The house is very beautiful and decorated with exquisite taste. The silence of this small village in the Yvelines is very much appreciated. The owners, Andrea & Jost, were lovely to deal with from start to finish. And the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. What's more, the car park is in an enclosed courtyard and there's a charging point for electric cars. We loved everything !!!! A magical moment. We'll be back often.
