Explore the historic centre of Houdan

We recommend taking the time to stroll through the streets of the town centre, where historic houses, small squares and local shops stand side by side. This walk allows you to discover a town on a human scale, which is pleasant to visit at any time of year and particularly quiet in November.

Visit the Houdan Keep

Le Houdan Dungeon is one of the town’s main landmarks. This medieval building serves as a reminder of Houdan’s historical significance and offers an insight into its past. Its imposing silhouette still dominates the townscape today and lends the town a great deal of character.

Discover the Church of Saint James and Saint Christopher
